Dubai to prepare 10 million meals for Gaza in tribute to the late Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum
The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), in collaboration with Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, will host the Ahmed Bin Rashid Humanitarian Bridge on Saturday, 26 September 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre, where more than 10 million meals will be prepared for the people of Gaza in honor of the late H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The community humanitarian initiative brings together residents, volunteers and admirers of Sheikh Ahmed to prepare food aid for the families and children most in need in Gaza, honoring a life defined by generosity, compassion and a lasting commitment to charitable and community causes.
His Excellency Mohammad Al Gergawi, Secretary General of MBRGI, said: "Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid has always been known for his humility, compassion and generosity. Today, thousands of his admirers show their devotion through this major humanitarian initiative."
The initiative reflects the humanitarian values of UAE society and the importance of volunteering and collective action, while rallying the community behind efforts launched from the UAE to support people in need around the world.
